Dr. Lucky Itsekor

Chairman

Dr. Lucky Itsekor obtained a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a concentration on International Business from Walden University, USA. Dr. Itsekor holds a double master’s degree; MBA marketing from LASU and a Masters in Energy and Petroleum Economics from DELSU, Nigeria. Also, Dr. Itsekor bagged a BSc in Food Science and Technology, from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. Itsekor has several certifications including the ‘Export Management Program’ (Non-oil Exports) from the Lagos Business School, Lekki, Lagos. Itsekor’s doctoral research focuses on marketing and supply chain management strategies for mitigating petroleum shortages/scarcity in the Nigerian downstream petroleum industry.

Dr. Itsekor is a managing consultant with several organizations in both the Nigerian oil and gas industry and the business consulting industry. Itsekor has over 19 years business experience, spending 13 years working with Conoil Plc, a Nigerian oil marketing company. Dr. Itsekor held positions such as Regional/Area business manager, retail sales manager, and retail network development manager. Also, Itsekor spent five years working in the nation’s fast food industry with companies such as Tantalizers, B and K Investments (Munchies fast food and supermarkets), handling positions as Outlet manager, Training manager, among others.

Itsekor’s experience is geared towards marketing, sales, supply chain management, customer relationship management, asset management, strategic management, forecasting and planning, human resource management, recruitment, staff training, warehouse management, depot operations, business development, Dealers mentoring, industry regulatory activities, public relations, logistics, and transportation.

Itsekor consulted in the setting up of several fast food chains across the country. At Conoil Plc, Itsekor inducted over 35 retail outlets in the south south, southeast, southwest, and north-central regions of Nigeria. Itsekor has several peer-reviewed publications in world class journals, which are available in Google scholar, Research gate, and Academia.edu. Also, Itsekor has made paper presentations in conferences both in Nigeria and outside the country. Itsekor received a letter of commendation and a fellowship award from Global Journals Incorporated, USA, in conjunction with Open Association of Research Society, Massachusetts, USA, for outstanding contribution to business and management research. Itsekor is a Fellow of Management and Business Research Council (FMBRC), USA, a Fellow of Institute of Management Specialist (FIMS) UK, a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and the International Association for Energy economics (IAEE). Dr Itsekor is happily married with kids.
